Brawl Stars Gems: What I Changed After the 2026 Update

I’ve been playing Brawl Stars since 2020. For years, I bought gems whenever I needed the Brawl Pass. Then the Prestige Update hit and they removed gems from boxes. I panicked. I thought I’d have to spend even more. But after a few months of trial and error, I realized I was ignoring the free gems the game already gives away. Here’s what I changed – and how I now get 150+ gems monthly without paying.

The Mistake I Made for Years

I used to buy gems whenever I wanted a skin or a Brawl Pass. I never bothered with the free track. I didn’t check the Supercell Store. I even ignored the login streak because “it’s just a few gems.” Looking back, that was dumb. I was throwing away free stuff without realizing it.

What Actually Gives Gems in 2026

After the Prestige Update, gems are no longer in boxes. But they are in a few predictable places:

• The Brawl Pass free track – 90–100 gems every season. I never miss it now.
• Supercell Store bonus – 10 free gems per season, just for logging into their website. I set a reminder on my phone.
• Trophy Road milestones – I push for the ones that give gems. Last season I got 25 gems just by playing.
• Daily login streak – days 5 and 19 give gems. I open the game for 30 seconds every day.
• Seasonal events – the Jujutsu Kaisen event gave 50 free gems. I check the news tab weekly.

If I do all these, I get around 130–150 gems per season. Enough for a Brawl Pass every three months. But last season I wanted a limited skin and I was short by 40 gems.

What I Did When I Was Short

I didn’t want to buy gems. A clanmate told me about a reward platform where you earn points for simple tasks – watching ads, trying free apps, answering surveys. You exchange the points for gift cards (Google Play, Apple App Store) and use them to buy gems. I tried it on a second account and got enough for the skin in a weekend.

It’s not a hack. It’s just a legitimate way to get gift cards without spending money. I’ve used it a few times now when I’m short on gems for something limited.
