Heartopia launched in January 2026. It's a cozy life sim where you build your dream house, make friends, and just live. No pressure, no deadlines. The premium currency is Wishing Stars — you use them for limited furniture, outfits, and events. I haven't paid a cent and I've gotten over 2000 stars. Here's how.

What I Got Wrong at First

When I started Heartopia, I didn't know about the daily rewards. I was just playing casually, doing my own thing. After a week, I realized I had missed out on a lot of free stars. The game doesn't force you to log in, but the rewards are there if you look.

Where Free Stars Actually Come From

1. Daily Login Streak: Log in every day. After 5 days, you get 50 stars. After 10, you get 100. I never break the streak. It's the easiest source of stars in the game.

2. Friendship Quests: Each character has quests. Finish them, get stars. I focused on one character at a time and got about 300 stars in the first week. It's worth picking a favorite and sticking with them.

3. Level Up Your Hobbies: Every time you level up fishing, cooking, or gardening, you get stars. I grinded fishing for a weekend and got 150 stars. It's boring, but it works.

4. Events (My Little Pony Collab): The current My Little Pony event gives stars for participation. I just log in, do the tasks, collect rewards. Takes 10 minutes a day.

The Catch

All these methods work, but they're slow. I wanted a specific outfit and it took me three weeks to save up. Sometimes you just want to get something without waiting.
