My heroes were getting destroyed in Trap Factory. I had all epic gear, but it wasn't enough. Then I discovered a farming route that gave me enough materials for full legendary gear in 10 days. Here's exactly where to go.

Why My Heroes Kept Dying
I had level 60 heroes but they felt weak. Then I realized – gear matters more than hero level. A level 50 hero with legendary gear will beat a level 60 hero with epic gear every time. I tested it myself. Same hero, same skills, but one had legendary boots. The legendary gear hero won 8 out of 10 fights. That's when I decided to focus everything on gear.
The Farming Route That Changed Everything
1. Infected Camps level 28-30 – Most players farm level 25 camps because they're easier. But level 28-30 camps drop design plans at double the rate. I found a cluster of four level 29 camps near my settlement. I hit them every two hours. In one day, I got 12 design plans – enough for one legendary piece.
2. Trap Factory during off-hours – I used to join Trap Factory at peak times. Huge mistake. The rewards are the same, but competition is brutal. I started joining at 2 AM server time. Suddenly I was top 3 every time. That gave me triple the gear materials per run.
3. Radar missions – only pick gear reward ones – I used to grab any radar mission. Then I started refreshing until I saw gear material rewards. Yes, it costs a few gems. But getting 5 design plans per mission instead of 1 is worth it. I spent 500 gems on refreshes and got back 50 design plans.
4. Join an active alliance with maxed Help Center – My old alliance had level 10 Help Center. My new one has level 20. The difference is huge. I can craft gear 40% faster because alliance members reduce the timer. I went from one legendary piece per week to one every three days.
The 2 AM Trap Factory Run
I'll never forget that night. I joined Trap Factory at 2:15 AM. Only 12 people showed up – usually there are 50. I placed first with ease. The rewards included 8 design plans and 200 gear XP. I did three runs back to back. By morning, I had enough materials to craft two legendary pieces. My wife woke up and asked why I was so happy. I showed her my phone. She didn't get it. But you will.
If you want to grind for free, my method above works. If you want to skip the grind, check the link above. Either way, your heroes will stop dying.

P.S. Focus on boots first. The speed boost helps you farm faster. Then chest piece for survivability. That's the order I used.

The off-hour Trap Factory tip is insane. Just did a 3 AM run and got first place. Thank you!
Been farming level 29 camps for two days now. Already got 20 design plans. This works.
